Resid.ai for insurance brokers

This page is for home insurance and building insurance brokers. The broker space brings together the requests received, the offers sent and contract follow-up.

Resid.ai is not an insurer: the broker advises, sells and collects payment under their own licence. The service is opening gradually; contact us to learn the conditions.

What is included

  • Insurance requests received and offers sent.
  • Follow-up of current contracts.
  • A neutral ranking of the offers shown to applicants.

Qualified insurance requests, directly in the app

Where the insurance service is available, Resid.ai allows residents to request a home insurance quote directly from the app. The request specifies the property to be covered, the desired coverage, and the information needed to prepare an offer. The broker or insurer receives it in their workspace and can reply to it.

A space for brokers and insurers

In your space, you open the request you received, review the provided information, and submit your offer. The offer appears on the applicant's side along with its terms, clear and easy to compare. This allows the applicant to compare multiple proposals before making a choice, without exchanging documents by email.

Tracking contracts and renewal dates

Residents and building committees can register an existing contract along with its expiration date. A due date reminder is scheduled before that date, giving ample time to compare and renew under favorable conditions. For a broker, this is an opportunity to introduce yourself before the contract expires.

Home insurance: a complete request from the start

The resident describes their home and the desired coverage before submitting their request. Resid.ai then allows them to compare received offers, view the ongoing subscription, and review its terms. Only home insurance is currently available.

The role of Resid.ai

Resid.ai connects applicants with brokers or insurers. The insurance policy is entered into directly with the insurer or broker, in accordance with the applicable regulations in your country. Any Resid.ai fees are clearly displayed before submitting any request; no fees are charged to the applicant without appearing on screen first.

An example journey

A resident wishes to renew their home insurance before their contract expires. They record their current policy along with its expiration date, then request a quote. A broker receives the request in their dashboard, reviews the information, and submits an offer with their terms. The resident compares the offer against their current policy, and a reminder alerts them before the deadline. The entire history is kept within the application.

Why offer your quotes on Resid.ai

You reach residents who have already decided to compare their home insurance. Information arrives in a structured format, avoiding back-and-forth emails to complete a file. Your offers are presented alongside their terms, without scattered email attachments.

Data protection

Data and files are hosted in the European Union (Ireland). Information from a request is only transmitted to the relevant broker or insurer. Applicants can request the export or deletion of their data directly from their profile.

How to become a partner broker

Create your account, select the “insurance broker” role, and complete your profile. To introduce your business, your coverage areas, and the types of policies you offer, reach out to us via the Contact page: a 30-minute discovery call will help determine how you can start receiving your first requests.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a fee to request a quote? The resident area is free; any applicable fees are shown prior to the request. Can I send multiple offers to the same applicant? Yes, each offer appears with its specific terms. Are there automatic renewal reminders? Yes, entering an expiration date triggers a reminder.

Service availability

How are requests handled? Each request arrives in the dashboard of the relevant broker or insurer, along with the details entered by the applicant. Access to this service depends on whether the insurance module is available in your country: write to us via the Contact page to find out which areas are covered. Resid.ai does not set prices or coverage terms: the insurer or broker decides.
